Our Bridge Vibration Tool uses your smartphone to measure bridge vibrations, calculate natural frequencies, and detect damage in your structure.
Instructions
1. Place phone on bridge with screen facing up.
2. Select a safe location with the large vibrations, such as on the sidewalk at one-third span.
3. Wait for a truck to appear.
4. Recording ten seconds before and after a heavy vehicle passes the span is enough.
